Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, a trained therapist will work one-on-one with the individual to identify specific goals and develop a personalized treatment plan that may include elements of both CBT and DBT. Sessions may involve discussing past experiences, identifying triggers, learning coping skills, and practicing new behaviors.

The ultimate goal of individual therapy that uses CBT and DBT is to help individuals develop the skills and strategies they need to manage their mental health concerns and improve their overall quality of life.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on improving communication and relationships between family members. It is based on the idea that problems within the family can contribute to individual mental health issues, and that by addressing these issues within the family unit, individuals can experience long-lasting positive change.

During family therapy, a trained therapist works with the family as a whole, rather than just one individual, to identify patterns of behavior and communication that may be contributing to conflicts or challenges. The therapist may also help family members to identify and express their emotions in a healthy way, and work towards developing more effective problem-solving strategies.

Family therapy can be helpful in addressing a wide range of issues, including conflicts between family members, parenting difficulties, communication problems, and mental health issues that impact the entire family. Family therapy sessions may involve different combinations of family members, depending on the specific issues being addressed and the goals of treatment.

Adolescent & Teen Therapy

Adolescent therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on addressing the unique challenges and issues that adolescents may face during this stage of development. Adolescence is a time of significant change and growth, and adolescents may experience a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, and behavioral problems.

During adolescent therapy, a trained therapist works with the teenager to identify and address the specific issues they are facing. The therapist may use a variety of techniques and approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and family therapy, depending on the individual needs of the adolescent.
