Building Maintenance Assistant

Basic skills in carpentry, dry wall repair, plumbing and electrical repair required. One year of experience preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to clear a background check and drug screening. Work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 and 5. This is a non-exempt full-time position with benefits.

Counselor I

  • Entry level position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma and relevant human services experience.

Counselor II

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science discipline, two years experience working with at-risk youth and an Addiction Counselor I certification.

Counselor III

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science discipline, a minimum of three years experience working with at-risk youth and an Addiction Counselor II certification.

Turning Point residential treatment facilities are staffed 24/7.  Consequently some of our employment openings will be for the overnight shift.

Flexible Time Off

  • The first year of employment provides 96 hours of flexible paid time off. 
  • The second year of employment provides up to 160 hours of paid time off.
  • During the third year employees accrue up to 192 hours.
  • The fourth year of full time employment will provide up to 224 hours. 
  • At year ten employees can accrue up to 288 hours of Flexible time off.

Family Medical Leave

Employees qualifying for Family Medical Leave are eligible to 40 hours of paid leave/year.

Paid Holidays

Turning Point offers to employees 9 paid holidays each year for the first year of employment.  The second year provides 10 paid holidays and the third year provides a floater day for a total of 11 paid holidays.  

Health Insurance

  • Turning Point provides $205.00 per month to offset the cost of medical, dental, eye or supplemental insurance.
  • Turning Point provides paid life insurance and an Employee assistance program to support employees who need assistance during a personal crisis involving financial, legal, personal or professional difficulties.

Long-Term Disability Insurance

  • The premium is paid by Turning Point.
  • Covers employees who, due to illness or injury, are unable to work for a period of 90 days or more
  • Provides a benefit of 60% of employee’s salary on the 91st day of any disability that prohibits the employee from engaging in their usual job activities.

403B Retirement Plan

Participation in the plan can occur anytime the employee is eligible for a benefit which is the first of the month following 90 days of employment.  After one year of  employment, Turning Point contributes $0.50 for every dollar an employee contributes to the plan.  Vesting occurs after three years of employment.
