Day Resource Programs

 

Turning Point's Day Resource Programs in Larimer and Weld counties are designed to provide therapeutic support to clients and their families in the least restrictive and most appropriate setting to assist in improving outcomes, and to achieve the following:

  • Children are secure and protected from harm
  • Children will progress toward stable, nurturing, and permanent living environments; and
  • When appropriate, children experience family continuity and community connectedness
  • Eliminate ongoing abuse, neglect or maltreatment
  • Protect youth and the community
  • Re-establish family stability, if appropriate
  • Assist youth to emancipate successfully, if appropriate
  • Minimize the length and number of placements, facilitating a healthy, permanent living environment for youth

 

The programs are licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services to serve male and female youth ages 12-21.

Day Resource Programs provide the following year-round services:

  1. 30 Hours per week of education approved by the Colorado Department of Education
  2. Weekly Individual Therapy
  3. Weekly In-Home Therapy
  4. Weekly Drug and Alcohol Groups
  5. Weekly Skills Group based on the DBT model
  6. Weekly Community NA Groups
  7. Daily recreation activities
  8. Vocational Education
  9. Affective Education
  10. Door to door transportation to and from the program

  • Pathways to Self-Discovery & Change
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
  • Positive Behavior Support
